Programmes
We accept up to Photoshop up to CS4, Illustrator up to CS4, In Design CS4, Quark 6, Acrobat Print Ready PDF files
Text / Font
Outline all fonts in Illustrator AND supply fonts used or required. Supplied fonts should be both screen and printer fonts.
Images
Photographs and graphics must be 300 dpi min or of a sufficient size to allow conversion to 300 dpi.
Image should be provided in the following File Types: (in order of preference)
1. .eps ( Illustrator file) .No problems with piixilation or scale. However, all Images should either be embedded or supplied and the document must be set up as CMYK.
2. .eps(Photoshop) Images should be .eps and a minimum of 300dpi.
3. .pdf - Must be print ready PDF files. And also, due to our individual printing process, regardless of fonts being embedded, they must also be supplied.
4. .indd “In Design” files which should be turned into print ready pdf files as above.
5. .qxd This is an ”assembled” file and is fine so long as all above criteria are adhered to.
6. .jpegs - unreliable for colour/ quality only usable if they are 300 dpi and uncompressed.
7. .tiff - must be set up no less than ¼ scale they are not reliable for large format otherwise.
.doc, .pps, .xls, .gif files are not accepted.
All files to be set up at 1/4 scale.
